The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This development is crucial for candidates who selected UNIUYO as their first choice in the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry application.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the screening:
- Candidates must have made UNIUYO their first choice in the 2025 UTME or Direct Entry application.
- A minimum UTME score of 150 is required for all candidates.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.
- All candidates must ensure their O'Level results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS on or before August 31, 2025.
Note: Foreign candidates, visually impaired applicants, hearing-impaired candidates, and those in correctional centres are exempted from the screening.
Application Process
- Visit the UNIUYO e-portals at https://eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniuyo.edu.ng.
- Register and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
- Make a non-refundable payment of ₦2,000 via Remita.
- Log back into the portal, complete the application form, and upload necessary documents (UTME slip, O'Level result, Direct Entry credentials where applicable).
- Submit the application and print your Acknowledgement Slip.
Candidates are strongly advised to fill in their details carefully, as errors may lead to disqualification. Multiple applications are also not allowed.
Deadline
The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, August 22, 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
